Artist
Tony Johnson, Born East London 1960 is a self taught artist, Tony has been displaying his work on the Costa del Sol for the past six years, he has sold his artworks and prints all over the world. His background has a long history of photography and graphic design.
"I have always had an interest in art going back some years when I
was at school. Our then art teacher wore baggy cords and a loose green jumper...not
sure he wore this all the time but its what I remember. He would tell the
class stories about his and others escapades to fire up our imagination
giving us the smallest detail then say to us "Paint what you see and
imagine". I've had a few jobs/careers in between then and now but always
come back to the creative. Since learning and continue to learn my craft
I now work on commissions and solo shows. I mainly work in acrylics but
now and again use oils.
At present I'm studying Horses especially the Polo ponies and will have
an exhibition during the summer of 2010.
For 2010 I will be offering local workshops and painting holidays contact
